This prayer is recited on Kol Nidre night, and expresses how we are completely in God's hands, just as the clay is in the hands of the potter.

The Words

Translation

Ki hine kakhomer b'yad hayotser
Birtsoto ma'arikh, uvirtsoto mekatser
Ken anchnu b'yadkha, khesed notser
Labrit habet v'al tefen layetser
(more tect in the Yom Kippur prayerbook)

Behold, as the clay is in the hand of the potter who, when he pleases, extends its, and when he pleases shortens it:
So, too are we in Your hand, most gracious preserver.
Look, therefore, to the covenant, and pay no attention to the accuser.
